For those of you who work in mod-severe classes, what's your turnover rate for aides? In my district there is a ton of work for mod-severe and almost none for mild mod or RSP. I'm wondering if it's like that in other districts

It's relatively high. But, many of these people are turning over because they want to become mod severe teachers themselves. The other part of this group turns over because working with mod severe students sometimes involves doing unpleasant things, like taking care of toileting needs and that is not the job for everyone, for sure
