So if I'm not here for awhile (though I'll be here in spirit and I'll be reading) its because I am having a hard time manipulating the keyboards on my laptop and phone !

Nancy

Thinking of you, Nancy. A friend had that surgery and the results were a miracle for her.

Sending prayers for skillful hands and quick healing.
Nancy, I had my endoscopy and colonoscopy today (I am in Ohio) and they said if it were Wed it would probably be cancelled as non-essential.
Our hospitals are on lockdown, no visitors for inpatients. There was a sheriff's deputy and a red line we couldn't cross until we sanitized our hands and a nurse verified my info on the paper. Then she walked us back to OP surgery.
Just to let you know what you may encounter.
Tight hugs,
Dorothy

I know a few people who had this surgery and are happy with the results. I hope you will feel the same. Our hospital is on lockdown too. It started while I was waiting to be called back for my surgery. It was really weird to hear them call over the intercom to announce the hospital had just moved to a code yellow. It was reassuring to know the hospital is taking measures to limit contact to try to keep the virus out of the building. It was not the time to worry about COVID-19 and I appreciate that I didn't have to. All that in case you have any anxieties about the circumstances you will see at the hospital.

Wishing you well!

Are they still doing surgeries? I've heard several reports that non-emergency surgeries are being cancelled. Reports were saying that they are trying to not use needed supplies.
