Broke Up!

I was pretty sure it would happen eventually, but this was sooner than I expected. DD's BF and father of the baby broke up with her this past Friday! He told her he can't take care of himself let alone someone else! If that is his attitude she is better off without him. She seems to be in a much better place emotionally today.

Sad, but probably for the best. I hope that in time he will get stronger and more healthy and be able to be a father to his child. Which doesn't mean a BF to your DD.

I predict she will find her way back to your home. She's going to need help now,and especially when the baby comes.

I am sorry your daughter's relationship did not last. But you are right. If he does not want to be there at least for the baby she is better off without him.

I'm so sorry- to hear this. But....it does sound like it's a temporary hurt for the long-term good. I'm glad you are there to support your DD.

Well, from everything youíve said about him in the past, maybe it is for the best (in the long run). How is Dd doing? How does she feel about becoming a mother?

Oh, man! I hope she finds her way home! I can't imagine going through this virus/economic catastrophe alone and pregnant on top of that!

I am glad to hear the BF was truthful with her and did not "string" her along. Better she find out now than after the baby is born. I hope she will now go back to her plans of coming home. I'm happy to hear she seems to be in a better place emotionally.
