What were probably outdated toppings for cupcakes... sprinkles, confetti and such . There were about six different kinds in the cylinder container, luckily there wasn’t too much left of each. Next step will probably be eating sugar by the spoonful . Six more days left in Quarantine! I’ll be rewarding myself with a pint of ice cream that I’ll eat all one sitting .

My DH's grandmother called buttered bread with white sugar sprinkled on it Shanty Pie. Think it was a depression era 'recipe'.
Not fancy but it does boost the blood sugar.

CatLove, do what you gotta do to get through it! MHugs, I hadn't heard of Shanty Pie, but my mom was a kid during World War II and her favorite treat was bread with lard and sugar.
