1) We have no new cases in my county.

And in GreyhoundGirl's world...

2) Mason Boy and I slept until 11:00 today (well, it's good news to me).
3) I'm really having fun playing with technology during this time off (but my house is disgusting so it's kind of a wash).

HEB
As the threat of coronavirus impacts our communities, we are sure of one thing: we will do our part to help our fellow Texans. H-E-B will make an initial $3 million commitment to support local organizations helping people most in need and working hard to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Because almost everyone is staying off the freeways and roads due to shelter-in-place, Los Angeles and surroundings have amazingly good air quality.

I have diabetes and get my toe nails cut by a podiatrist. I have not wanted to go to my podiatrist because of the virus. Today I got the name/number of a "traveling" podiatrist, he comes tomorrow. I am happy because my nails are too long and have been getting caught on my floor.

My 2 Hess Firetrucks came today, so I have 2 Christmas presents bought for my 2 new baby grandnephews. I am excited because 1 baby's daddy is a volunteer firefighter.

After several days of rain, we finally have a beautiful day! I was able to get some sunshine to cleanse the mind and body.

On my 7 mile walk, I made a quick cruise through “my” grocery store: no lines, gorgeous produce, some TP—maybe 50 big packages. I’m an overstocker at home, so I still haven’t shopped—and I hope this is the newest normal. The rest of my local world is very quiet with many stores closed and some restaurants offering curbside pick-up or delivery. I so admire the flexibility and quick adjustment of Americans.

My school served 232 meals to children today. Some were delivered, but they are encouraging ANY child in our county age 18 or under to come and get a take away lunch and then something to save for breakfast the next morning.

Vistited Grandma
Old 03-19-2020, 05:18 PM

1.The kids surprised Grandma today at her house. We called her on the phone when we got there. Of course everyone stayed in their car seats in the car, in the driveway. (Mom, too, of course!)

She came out on the front porch, keeping her distance, and we had a nice very short visit. We all blew each other kisses as we drove away! (Without touching our own faces-not supposed to touch our face, remember!)

We talk and text on the phone throughout the day, but a visit was nice for us all. ( and to do a visual to make sure she is really ok, and not just telling us that she is fine)

2. Listened live to our church's evening prayer tonight. It's so nice that our minister does this for our church.
