I want to make a rope wall room divider like the one in the picture- but I canít find directions. Does anyone know how to make the knots like this? Can you point me to any tutorials? Any idea on how to attach on the bottom?

Thanks in advance for any help you can shoot my way.

Any idea of terms to search for? What kind of knot is that? For some reason there are not tons of results for ďdiy rope walls with dowlsĒ.

Iím usually a good google-er, but this one has me stuck, and my DH is picking up supplies on his way home from work and I really donít want to admit I have no idea what Iím doing.

https://www.instructables.com/id/Basic-Knots-Guide/

You may have to go through all the different knots to see what looks like your knot. There are basic knots guides on www.instructibles.com. Perhaps the Timber Hitch (used to tie a rope onto a pole or log) or the Slip Knot (Used as a grip for pulling things)?

I can’t be sure from looking at the picture, but I think it’s a series of cords tied onto a stick (pole) with a larks head knot.

I just found this quick YouTube video that might help.

I’m still looking for an image that shows a series of these specific knots placed next to each other to see if it matches your photo.

Later:Found something! This looks like a wall hanging pattern that could get you started. It is intended to be a wall hanging but I’m thinking you can extend the pattern to fit your needs once you learn the basics here.

Iíve asked three Eagle Scouts (one of them was in the Navy, too) and they are unable to identify that knot.

Omg! You guys are great! I think the wall hanging pattern from Risa will get me started. I will totally post a picture when Iím done. My fingers are crossed that it is a successful picture- DH will never let me forget it if his diy project (that I planned for him) turns out better than mine.
