I have mine displayed on the front of my house, but what's crazy is I'll have to go and look at exactly how they are! I thought I knew off the top of my head, but it's one of those things that you see so often you don't really see it anymore!

Right under our porch light is a plaque like this. I found a crafter on etsy who makes them out of recycled metals. We also have brass ones posted vertically on our mailbox post by the curb.

Mine is by front door and hard to see. So I bought a larger # and put over garage door.

I live in town. My mailbox is attached to my lamp post. The house numbers are on the side of the mailbox. I had them on my house, but haven't put them up since I got my new siding. I probably should.

Mine are on the mailbox, which is at the end of my driveway.

I also have painted wooden numbers on my front porch post.

When I bought the house, the numbers were over my front door, but you couldn't see them through the screened porch. Plus the numbers had changed.

My numbers are actually etched into the brick on my house. I also have the numbers on my mailbox.

Ours is in metal numbers underneath the the lamp to the right of the garage door. It's kind of hard to see from the road.

Thankfully our public works dept. had a campaign where they gave out free reflective address # signs if you signed up. We put it on a post in the garden strip next to the top of our driveway. We were the only ones in our neighborhood who got one. We joke that the neighbors give directions by telling them how many houses down from ours!

We only have ours on the mailbox. The house sits way back off the road in a rural area.

Everyone here has house numbers. Our 911 law requires that they must be displayed and visible from the street. Ours are right under our front door light.

If your house is not visible from the street they are displayed on your mailbox.

The property name is on a post at the gate (no mail delivery, so no letterbox) .

I wanted chunkier black numbers, but DH just repainted the old brass ones. Good enough.

That is sort of what happened at our place! We replaced our dinky brass looking garage lights with more proportionate oiled bronze ones, but DH wouldn't spring for new numbers oh well, at least he painted them!

Mine are in the brick/stone of my house, like several PP's. It's near the light by the garage. At my last house it was above the garage door, written in script. I didn't care for that as I figured someday people wouldn't be able to read the cursive any more.

I have house numbers that are tiles stuccoed to the front of my house near the front door. They are also near our front door light so they are visible from the street. In my neighborhood, we also have our house numbers painted in white on the curb in front of our house. This is so ER services can find us better. Not sure if it is mandatory but they are repainted every year.

My town requires that house numbers be visible from the street. I had a ceramic one made from an online company.
