Cat medicine question
Old 11-26-2012, 05:49 PM

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I left my cat's baytril antibiotic, which is supposed to be refrigerated, out on the counter by mistake. As soon as I realized the mistake (about 20 hours later) I put it in the fridge.

Does anyone know if it is still good?

Thanks!

Call any pharmacist- CVS, WAlgreens, someone local. They will be able to tell you. Maybe even an emergency number for your vet.

My gut says yes, but call.

My husband sells animal health products, and he says "yes". He also said if you left if out for 20 DAYS it would probably still be good.

Thanks for the responses! My gut was it would be fine but I appreciate your husband's affirmation, anabel12.

I'm not on the boards frequently but I do appreciate the responses I get when I post.

have a great day!
