One less thing to worry about

DH got his letter that hes off disability insurance and fully retired as of July 1. His pension is a bit less than what hes getting now but it should not affect us greatly. We have zero debt and our expenses are low. Just hope this inflation slows down!!!!

He was worried about all the paperwork etc.

Good News about being retired and getting his pension. The galloping inflation has us worried.

Yes, I'd be happy to be able to quit worrying about paperwork, too. It's good to be able to feel comfortable about your finances.

Zero debt is the way to go. It took me half of my life to learn that, but I am thankful I did!
Paperwork for retirement can be tricky! I am glad it worked out for you guys.

Getting a pension and avoiding paperwork is a win-win! It sounds like you and your DH are now in a good position to enjoy retirement.
