tv help!

What do I do? Amazon won't play on my tv(It's at least 5 years old)...on the screen it states: this service is no longer available on this device.

I know tvs are once again changing, but is there something I can add or plug into to my tv to get it to work again...I don't want another tv to go in the garbage...

Thanks for you help.

Try an Amazon Fire Stick. Your TV will need an HDMI slot.

Is this an app on your TV? It worked at one time? Is it giving you an error code?

If you don't want to give more money to Amazon, Roku is another option . I have a firestick on a 10 year old non-smart TV and it works perfectly, but Roku should work fine as well.

I didn't know that's how smart TVs worked- what's the point then? I would think most people keep their TVs for a very long time.

I have always used my Blu Ray player to watch Amazon & Netflix. Recently I have received the we will no longer support... message. I guess Ill have to investigate the Firestick. Right now I just hook my laptop up to the TV.
