Another coffeemaker question

I donít drink coffee. Iím thinking of getting a Keurig-mini basic coffee maker for guests. It would get very occasional use so the pods appeal to me. Do I need anything besides the coffeemaker and pods? Iím hoping the pods are a filter, too.

I donít like coffee so I want something simple and no mess. This is what Iím considering:

Thanks!

I have something similar, not the same brand, though. I use the little filter that comes with it so I donít need to buy the pods (cheaper for me since I do have a cuppa every morning, and also environmentally friendlier) but for your purposes the pods work great. You donít need anything except the coffeemaker and the pods. Should work great and be nice for your guests!

By the way, you can also buy pods to make tea, chai, hot cocoa, and hot apple cider...

making their pods eco friendly. Don't know if they already have them or not.

The pods are easy - just pop them in and thatís it. No muss no fuss. I love my Keurig.

I know you already ordered it, so I'll just confirm. Single friend has one and loves it! She has a box of reg. and decaf. (for evening) pods on-hand. She also keeps a small box of artificial sweetener (even though she doesn't use it) for guests who use it.

You're kind to think of others. We coffee drinkers appreciate it.

Thanks for adding on great info, SusanTeach. I do have artificial sweetener I use myself to make lemonade/limeade, and decaf is a great suggestion.

If you drink hot tea it's also great for that and hot chocolate. I just put my tea bag in the cup and run the water through without a pod in it.

I love my Keurig! And I am a coffee lover. That looks perfect if you only need it for guests. Otherwise, it's a pain to have to keep filling the water reservoir, so I like my bigger one.

I have the older version and it has worked well for years. I have it on the counter in my classroom.
