I am going to be tutoring a child that is heading to 7th grade. I teach third so do not have access to her station to know what it is she is needing help for. Is there anyone out there that could help me with the interventions for this age? I teach third. Thanks in advance

First you need to know his/her reading level & writing proficiency..it's not just the grade level.
After you have the reading level you can proceed from there....You can do a baseline assessment of fluency, comprehension and the like.
You can google state specific grade level assessments (Free) also.
Based off of the results and areas of growth; you proceed from there.

You can always do a DRA on her and figure out what reading level she is on and then take it from there. This is what I do when I begin to tutor a new student. After that I use Orton Gillingham.
