Petty TpT rant

This is such a petty rant....but, while I have found some really good resources on TpT to supplement my teaching, I can't stand it when you click on PREVIEW and all the preview pages are mashed together on one page. I can't see anything! I usually just bypass those materials and look for one that I can clearly preview the product page by page. UGH. Rant over. Happy Friday everyone!

I watched a tutorial video a teacher made showing how to create those types of previews. She claimed it was the best because it allowed other teachers to see everything that is in your packet. It was so much work that I only did it for one or two of my products.

I think it's hard to see...

everything, because the pages are so small and so squished together. Even though all of the pages may be displayed, I can't see them. I'd much prefer just a few complete pages of the packet to give me an idea of the materials. I appreciate your hard work!

In what other "store", are you expected to drop $5.00 or $10.00 or $80.00 and not even know what the heck you are buying? I feel like I've been cheated many times by buying something that LOOKED like it would be a good resource, only to download some junky, unsuitable, boring, created in Paint garbage. I don't buy anything I can't see clearly anymore.

I think I am in need of a supplement to my paycheck for the lack of curriculum and resources that my district provides which has caused me to spend my own hard-earned money.

I agree with you whole heartedly. They are all so small and overlapping and scrunched up that there is no way to see an actual preview. I've wasted some money because of that and it irks me.

I just go to a different source if I see the mashed up preview. I've even emailed a few of the sellers to have a closer look at even one or two sheets if I'm really interested. I'm not spending good money on a mini blurry copy of what they're selling.

That would be so nice to get extra pay for buying curriculum wouldn’t it! TpT has helped me so much. I try very hard to never spend more than $9 on something. I always first look for free stuff. I also always do reviews so I can get points. Honest reviews so others can actually use them. Not just, “That was great. Thanks.” I do actually look at the reviews before I buy.
I wish I was so creative and knew how to creat things like that. Also wish I had time. Thank God for those that do!!!
