soccer baby Saturday

My soccer babies didn't want to play today. Well, two did. The rest just wanted to run around. We played a very professional for four year olds team. It was nice to pump up their egos a bit.

Seriously, there is a crazy team called The Longhorns. They just creamed these guys last week. We have actually beaten them. So it was a nice boost for them to conquer the team that conquered The Longhorns.

My little guys have lost their spark.

Anyway to get it back? We just play fun games and have fun but now it's like an old hat to them. Im going to try to come up with some passing games. They like practice but I think being too fun might be my problem? They don't like the games as much. I wish the season were shorter,as most of these little guys are just done, it seems. Especially on Saturdays.

I just miss seeing the love out there.

A team cheer when someone "scores"

Skittles for all involved on a good play.

Ice-cream with the coach.

Too much fun is usually not a problem with four year olds...it is the parents.

Maybe your soccer babies have had lots of activities like pumpkin farms and pre Halloween parties so they are tired.

I like Happykids ideas for games but I would leave your practices the same!
