Hi all! What do you do with your time during the summer? Do you tutor at the school, work elsewhere, or take a vacation? I'm guessing there rarely are people called to sub. I am just concerned as the end of May is it for us. I have a large chunk of cash in the bank but it's for student teaching. Ugh.

Lowe's and Home Depot are hiring. Better than most retail jobs and "Learning Centers" pay.

They are always looking for cashiers and if you know a home improvement skill you can make even more money than a cashier.

After 8 months, I need a long break from teenagers. I work at a golf course. Hours are pretty much the same as school, and I like being outside. Pays slightly less than subbing , but it gets me through the drought of the summer months.
