Clarity posted this photo last summer on Photo Friday and I loved it. I really don’t consider myself an artist, but I wanted to try to paint it. Clarity, I finally finished it...check out the next post for my attempt.

What size is it and where will you hang it? A barn wood frame would be excellent. I love it! What a way to brighten this rainy, too-cool June day. (I just turned the heat on again.)
A friend went to Italy. Someone took her photo of her looking out a window. The photographer was at ground level looking up at her. I want to paint that.
Clarity, it's on a wrap-around canvas frame, so I painted all the edges. This means it doesn't need a frame to be hung. It's 14x11 inches.
Right now, it's on my small easel in my front room. Right across from my recliner, it'll be there for a while. It'll likely go in the kitchen next - I hang my "paint with wine" class paintings there, usually by season. I also have a large hallway going to the second floor apartment that I swap out paintings by season.
