Good news! I may live

I ate real food today. I ate chicken and chocolate. Real chocolate. It was like manna from heaven. Iíve never been happier.

Iím embarrassed to admit but I think I may have gotten salmonella from my eggs. Every time I ate an egg I got sick. Once I stopped eating the eggs, I was fine.

Now Iím going to eat ALL the food.

Side note: all my bloodwork came back fine but my platelets and red blood cell counts were a little high. Iím expecting the dr to say sheís not concerned.

Glad that you are feeling better and may have figured something out...

I am wondering why this is embarrassing? Did you leave them out on the counter for a week before eating?

I am so glad to hear that you seemed to have discovered the problem! You may have developed an allergy to eggs. They may not have any bacteria in them at all. When I had salmonella I couldn't stop vomiting (like every 15 minutes), diarrhea, severe cramps, nausea and some neurological symptoms as well (I totally lost control of my fingers at one point).

I am glad you're better!
