Toot toot!

That's me tooting my own horn!

Today I FINALLY sorted and began scanning an entire plastic tub of family pics. We're talking 4 or 5 reusable grocery bags full to the brim of pics.

I also finally finished purging the closet in the guest room/craft room. I had taken out the rod and put in shelves so it's like a big supply closet.

The weight of my anxiety of the last couple weeks is beginning to lift. You know, just in time for back to school anxiety! Lol.

So what can you toot toot about today?

Yay for Book Geek!

My accomplishments for today:
set up a group of grandmas who watch their grandchildren and want to meet together once a week. Details will need to be sorted out.
Observed an indoor swimming school and signed up DGD
Grocery shopped
Mopped some floors
Set up a few visits with friends

DH and I drove to Dallas and back today for an appointment. We survived I 35 which is no small feat. Plus we found the professional building where we had the appointment and our way back home despite all the construction and detours.

Good for you! I envy you getting through family pictures! I have several tubs from my mom who passed away nearly two years ago. Both my sister and I have been putting off going through them. Most are unlabeled and people we don’t know so I think we will be tossing a lot.

I attacked the dust bunnies in my bedroom. Some of them could easily been mistaken for elephants.

Started skim coating a wall where I removed wallpaper- literally watching it dry 😂

I managed to get my DGD to bed and asleep without the ups and downs she gives her parents. I find great pleasure in being able to get little ones to bed without a fuss. Fingers crossed this continues the next couple of nights. DGD is spending three days with me. Iím in Heaven!
