Book recommendation

I’m definitely cautious about recommending books at PT right now, but I just finished listening and loved this one so much I hope someone else will, too. The Third Wife by Lisa Jewell wasn’t what I expected it to be at all—I thought it was more popular drama, but I found it to be excellent contemporary fiction, a lovely look at the stuff of life (without being sappy or pedantic). I wanted to meet the characters. It felt like one of my favorite writers, Nick Hornby—so comfortable and comforting. Let me know if you read it.

I think we have similar tastes in books based on what you’ve recommended it the past Amiga, so I’m putting this one on my list!

I read a book by that author recently "Then She Was Gone", I'll put this one on my "want to read" list.

I went to the library site to put it on my For Later shelf and found it's already there!

I really like Lisa Jewell. I've read a few of her books, including that one. Then She Was Gone is great and I also really liked The House We Grew Up In.

I finished it a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed it as well. I've liked all of her books, particularly Then She Was Gone, Watching You and The House We Grew Up In.

I've liked a lot of your recommendations, too, amiga, so I will put this on my list. I'm still waiting on the Evelyn Hugo book at the library! Hasn't come in yet
