One of my districts uses Subfinder...I noticed that Subfinder now has a clock telling you how much time you have for accepting a job...Have you noticed that on your Subfinder?

Ha ha, I can't remember the last time I saw an available job on Subfinder, so it's hard to say.

I have not noticed the clock yet, mainly because the poster above is right...haven't found a job on it in a while.

However, I have no qualms about accepting a job before reviewing it and then cancelling it. It's do or die in our situation. At least on Subfinder, while you are reviewing a job, no one else can access it. On AESOP, the job can disappear before your finger hits the keyboard.

I try to keep AESOP pulled up because the jobs go so quick. I even bought the Jobulator subscription that alerts you with a sound when a job comes up. Today was funny though, a computer job came up and it stayed up forever. Guess it wasnt a popular one-I didnt take that one either.

Yes, I also noticed the countdown clock a couple of weeks ago and was told that the newer version of subfinder now has this feature. I like it because it prevents someone from holding a job open for a long time while they make a decision. The clock even appears on jobs where you have been requested. Great feature!

Just curious-- how much time does this countdown clock give you?

Enough time to look up the location of the school and its distance from you?

60 seconds

the clock is 60 seconds, so I have used Google maps and documented the distance and drive time to each school. I keep this on an index card next to the computer so I can make a quick decision. I have used this to already identify the schools too far away so I can decide easily within 60 seconds to accept or pass on a job.

60 seconds... well at least it's not 10. But UGH. I'm not super fast with a computer. I'd probably need more than 60 seconds. I hate pressure decisions!!

Logged in today and had the 60 second clock. This must be an upgrade version. It also has a lock column.
