That was fun.... and I learned something!

#14 explains the difference between the American "quite" and British "quite"

There's a line in Pride & Prejudice (the Keira Knightley movie) where Darcy's sister tells Elizabeth that he told her Elizabeth played "very well" and Darcy protests with "I said quite well" and I could never figure out how that made any difference.
