Clip to ScrapBook #1

A parent who knowingly has Covid sent their child to practice. Now the entire team and coaching staff have to be tested. In reality, their parents/guardians should as well. By the way, we go in person 5 days a week at the end of August. People are too selfish to be trusted to follow the guidelines. I wish I could retire.

Parent probably believes that kids can’t spread it. Or maybe it is pure selfishness - can’t deprive my kid. I hope no one else gets it!

And this is why teachers are worried about going back to the classrooms.

Unbelieveable. I'm sorry but I think parents/people should be issued fines for this, there is no need to be so selfish during a pandemic.

Basketball coach died

In a district about 30 minutes from me a girls basketball coach was holding summer conditioning.

He caught Covid from one of the players and he passed away.

In my area and district we have had several incidents where students at voluntary practices have spread Covid.

I should qualify that as far as I know no one went to practice knowing they were exposed to Covid. That is just awful.

Yes, this is what I am afraid will happen at school. Parents are always sending kids to school sick or with Tylenol to bring down the fever until the Tylenol wears off.
