Clip to ScrapBook #1

First, the background. I swiped 4 blue colors of Distress Ink on my craftmat, sprayed with water, and dipped Stampin' Up Homespun Plaid stamp into the smeary mess and stamped it onto the smooth side of Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock. Then I used Stampabilities Faded Text Background stamp and applied 3 lavender/purplish colors of Distress Oxide Ink directly to the stamp before stamping. I stamped Verve Notebook Paper stamp on white cardstock. I stamped happy birthday from SSS Happy onto vellum. I punched through the vellum and cardstock and applied eyelets. I found a matching blue and cut the 2 background papers in half and butt them together, taping on the backside. I covered the seam with a piece of washi tape. The bakers twine might be a step too much but it seemed like the blue area was too empty. I used foam dots to pop up the notebook.

Love how you did the Happy Birthday.
Your cards are lovely.
How do I get on your mailing list?

You have such great ideas.
Do you make a card-a-day?
I know a woman who was doing that before Christmas.
I wonder if she is still doing a card-a-day.

Thanks!

I do not make a card a day. You see what I make! A card a day would be a major undertaking.
