is my next cataract surgery! I am beyond delighted and relieved.
After the first one Nov. 23, it was slated for Jan. 4, as the dr. inadvertently forgot to schedule the two back-to-back. My right eye is now 20-20!!
My left, the one about to be newly improved, does not even see the large "E" on the eye chart. This disparity causes dizziness. Glasses don't work, even tho I have them with lens on only left/right just a dummy lens.
My pre-op is tomorrow. THANK GOD!!! Christmas came early for me. The gift of eyesight!! Whoo-hoo!!

I can't imagine that kind of disparity in vision. I'm glad you'll get it taken care of in less than a week.

That's great! A dear friend has to wait until early January for her 2nd eye.

I'm so glad the doctor's office found a way to get you in sooner.....You shouldn't have to wait so long for the other eye to be done. So....relax now and get things prepared...and before you know it, you'll be seeing Christmas in a whole new way. So happy for you!

So glad you were able to get the surgery earlier! I had my eyes done a week apart. Even in that week with one good eye and one bad your body starts to compensate. Then you have to re- adapt. Glad you are on target to get it done and put it behind you!!!! Believe me, Landsoftly, the New Year will be much brighter!!

Just in time for St. Lucia Day! Actually that's the 13th, but she's the patron saint of eyesight. I'll pray to her on Sunday.

Now, how soon can we go see a movie? I recommend Brooklyn.....
