Does anyone have light covers for their room? What color did you use?

Did they make a difference in your classroom?

Where did you get them from ?

I was thinking about getting 3-5 sets .

I added them this year. I have the blue ones. They do soften the light quite a bit. Most of the time, however, I have my lights off and use lamps and Christmas lights.

To do my whole room would be expensive. I may use paper.

Fire marshal wouldn't allow paper here.

I have 9 lights in my room. I bought two four-packs for $24 each. I took the bulbs out of the light over my smartboard.

It's a nice teal-ish blue cloth. It only makes a difference if all or most of the lights are covered. The school gave every classroom a set of 4 cloths, but it didn't do anything because most of the lights were uncovered.

The covers meet standards for fire retardant coating. There is a paper that comes with them for you to keep on file for fire Marshall’s.
