Mask dangers

The title is in jest...

But DH has some kind of infection on his lips from wearing a mask all day in a hot warehouse.

Yesterday we thought it was essentially athleteís foot (after internet research). And bought OTC cream. But it was way worse this morning so he texted with a doctor this morning and will pick up a cream from the pharmacy.

Anyways, so when people complain about wearing a mask to go in the store.... I donít have any sympathy.

Oh, so sorry. How's he going to do things regarding mask-wearing moving forward?

(BTW, I'm certainly not one of those mask complainers. I wear mine in the park and cover and uncover my nose depending on how close I'm around others.)

I hope the infection or fungus on his lips clears up quickly.

I hope the cream works for him. The problem with many masks is that they tend to get wet the longer they are worn. Is it possible for him to change masks every few hours? That would require having 4 or 5 masks on hand, and also washing/disinfecting the masks as soon as he is off work.

He has to wear masks at work, so heíll be changing them more frequently.

The cream seems to be working.

New problems thanks to Covid.

There will be so many more infections from the bacteria in masks once we all get back to school and have to lecture in them for hours every day. Itís very different from rushing through a store with one. Talking will create more moisture.
