1. Who is president?
Barack Obama

2. What's the number one song? Click Here to find it. Click the year you graduated, and then find the week (or as close as you can get).
Somebody That You Used to Know by Gotye

3. What teacher will you miss the most?
Probably my English teacher

4. What class are you excited about never going back to?
Computing Applications - the teacher was fine, but the class was super easy and almost all freshmen.

5. What do you want to remember DEFINITELY to do before the end of the day?
Clean out my locker. I remember not scheduling the time to do that and rushing on the last day.

6. How are you feeling?
I'm just kind of over it, to be honest. I was the kid who had older friends, and while I had a lot of friends in my grade, high school just seemed too young for me at that point.

7. What are you doing in ten years? (Answer as a 17/18 year old, not what actually has happened)?
A high school English teacher. Lol (based on my answer to number six, and the program I actually have, and knowing that I have terrible classroom management above second grade).

8. What's the last bit of high school stress/drama you're going through?
I was UNDERPREPARED for my AP Gov exam, and I was stressed about getting the scores back. I wound up not qualifying for credit, but I didn't even need the class.

9. How did you get to school, and how are you leaving?
I got to school by my mom. I was just going to ask a friend for a ride home or ride the bus. I wound up riding home with a friend that I didn't typically ride with.

10. What are you doing after graduation (immediately, not long-term plans)?
There was a grad night the night of graduation. It sucked because we had the latest graduation in the county that year, and we had to rush from the ceremony to the event. The other schools had time between and got there earlier.

1. Who is president?
Bill Clinton

2. What's the number one song? Click Here to find it. Click the year you graduated, and then find the week (or as close as you can get).
This is How We Do It

3. What teacher will you miss the most?
All my English teachers

4. What class are you excited about never going back to?
Computer Programming

5. What do you want to remember DEFINITELY to do before the end of the day?
Clean out my locker

6. How are you feeling?
Eh. Anxious about life changes, even if it is positive

7. What are you doing in ten years? (Answer as a 17/18 year old, not what actually has happened)?
Major League beat writer for a major metro newspaper (teaching is not my first career)

8. What's the last bit of high school stress/drama you're going through?
There apparently a huge party in a park before school. Lots of classmates came to school inebriated. One, who is now a preacher, was taken from the building on a stretcher after attacking an administrator. Dorky me was bummed I missed out on all the "fun."

9. How did you get to school, and how are you leaving?
Drove myself (and maybe my brother?) and drove myself home

10. What are you doing after graduation (immediately, not long-term plans)?
Nothing. Again, dork.

1. Richard Nixon
2. Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree
3. Mr. L, Ms. H was a very close 2nd
4. Chemistry. We had a very nice teacher, but I just couldn't get very excited about the subject. That was back in the days of doing calculations on slide rules, but if we had been able to use fancy calculators like those used today, I might have felt differently.
5. Not sure. The prom was that night, and that was certainly on my mind.
6. I honestly don't remember. I enjoyed high school, but was relieved to be finished with it.
7. Teaching, but beyond that, it wasn't something I thought about at the time.
8. Getting a decent score on the chemistry final (it was the last period of that last day).
9. School bus
10. Working, going to graduation parties, starting college in the fall

Richard Nixon was the president when I graduated from HS.

Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce(Jan 5)
was the number one song that year.

Mrs. Wassnik was my favorite teacher. She taught social studies.

I never wanted to take an algebra class again.

Wow, I not sure what I wanted to remember then. Probably just tell my friends good bye and see you at graduation.

I was a happy camper n HS having loads of fun and was a little anxious about going to college soon.

I wanted to be a buyer for women's clothes for a retail store.

I skipped some classes and got caught.

I drove to school my junior and senior year.

I got a summer job in downtown Austin with a local retailer. I used all the money I earned to purchase new clothes for college in the fall.

George H. W. Bush was elected the January before I graduated.

2. What's the number one song?
Looks like probably "I'll be Loving You (Forever) by NKOTB. Yuck.

3. What teacher will you miss the most?
Herr Bag (don't ask)

4. What class are you excited about never going back to?
PE (grew up in IL- PE EVERY SINGLE DAY of my school life from K-12)

5. What do you want to remember DEFINITELY to do before the end of the day?

6. How are you feeling?
Happy, nostalgic, excited

7. What are you doing in ten years? (Answer as a 17/18 year old, not what actually has happened)?
Teaching (that was my dream from age 4 on, and was still my dream at age 17)

8. What's the last bit of high school stress/drama you're going through?
Hmm. We're talking 30 years ago now (HOLY CRAP!), so that's hard to remember. I'm sure it's something to do with friends and wanting to keep in touch with those I loved, but I don't think that was a big issue for me on that last day.

9. How did you get to school, and how are you leaving?
I probably rode the bus and would ride it back home I went to a 9-12 with 4000 people and a small student parking lot. Almost no one got a parking permit without some serious need or luck.

10. What are you doing after graduation (immediately, not long-term plans)?
Working my summer job. I think I was still working at Venture that summer (like a Target kind of store)

ETA: Hmm, maybe mine are "long term" plans? Immediately... I had a party that weekend. I'm sure we went out for dinner immediately after the graduation, although I can't think of where because we almost never went out to dinner.

1. George W. Bush

2. SOS by Rihanna

3. My AP Government teacher

4. I lucked out and actually liked all of my classes senior year. I figured out I didn't need 4 years of math for college (I'd already taken up through pre-calc, which was all that was required at the time), and didn't take a math class at all senior year, which was heavenly! All of my other classes were AP and were really small with people I was really comfortable with by that time. Teachers also gave us a lot more freedom and the classes were enjoyable.

5. Honestly I can't really think of anything. I remember taking pictures in all of my classes.

6. A little sad but really excited to go to college.

7. I always knew I'd be a teacher!

8. One of my friends had just broken up with her boyfriend because he wanted to have sex and she didn't. It was big drama for our small town school .

9. In my trusty Honda Accord- 15 years old at the time but still going very strong.

10. Nothing, my friends and I were boring . My parents asked if I wanted to invite people over, but I didn't bother because everyone I knew was doing big family get togethers.

We were not in the same school, but same year!

President - Jimmy Carter
Song - You're the One That I Want, from the Grease soundtrack
Teacher - Mrs. Medlock who made History come alive
Class -Band
To do - Pack for Myrtle Beach trip (we skipped our last class to go shopping for bathing suits)
Feeling - Can't wait to leave my hometown, but sad about leaving my friends.
In ten years - Teaching school and maybe be married
Stress/drama - I locked my keys in my car before graduation and worried the whole ceremony about telling my parents
Transportation - I drove my mother's older Ford Galaxy 500. She had just gotten a newer car. However since I had locked the keys inside, I had to ride home with my parents after graduation!
After graduation - Go to Myrtle Beach with my friends, then work in a sock mill, then off to college.

1. Who is president? George W. Bush

2. What's the number one song? Click Here to find it. Click the year you graduated, and then find the week (or as close as you can get). Makes Me Wonder by Maroon 5...I don't remember that song at all! However, the top song for the weeks following was Hey There Delilah by Plain White Tees, which I definitely remember!

3. What teacher will you miss the most? A lot! Too many to cost!

4. What class are you excited about never going back to? None

5. What do you want to remember DEFINITELY to do before the end of the day? ????? Not sure! Today, I'd tell myself to enjoy the moment, but back. then, I don't know!

6. How are you feeling? Ecstatic, but also in disbelief, like a dream...is it really for real?

7. What are you doing in ten years? (Answer as a 17/18 year old, not what actually has happened)? At that pointe, I wanted to be married with kids. I still want that today! At our senior retreat, other students had to say where they thought I'd be in 10 years. They predicted I'd be a principal.

8. What's the last bit of high school stress/drama you're going through?A "friend" was horrible to me. A few days before the last day of school, one of our teachers was going on a rant about how he can't believe teachers miss students out of dress code, especially when it's obvious. My friend was out of dress code and was not busted. When the teacher started citing examples of obvious dress code violations and he mentioned hers, I elbowed her and started chuckling. It drew attention and the teacher looked over, busted her, and sent her to the office and she got a detention. She refused to talk to me and turned all of our friends against me, too. In that class that next day, she purposely sat in a different spot and announced "Notice _____ and I aren't sitting together. That's because I hate her. I always have. We aren't friends." Then she and all the others we hung out with would every day walk past me in a big group and talk about "fun things" they were going to do. I later learned they just did that to make me jealous/left out and they never even did the fun things! Talk about petty immature drama!

9. How did you get to school, and how are you leaving? My mom taught at my high school, so and I came together-she drove.

10. What are you doing after graduation (immediately, not long-term plans)? Not sure if you mean after the ceremony or that next year. After the ceremony, we had just a small party at my house. I planned to go to a college about 4 hours and major in education. I ended up transferring but still majored in education.

...grow up in a great time!
It was also a great time to start a teaching career, at least for me. I got to enjoy being a teacher, having respect and support from (most!) parents and administration and students, and not having to deal with the countless tests and unrealistic expectations that came along as my career progressed. I feel really lucky to have started when I did.
Edited to add: My hubby graduated when Kennedy was president (song: "It's My Party" by Leslie Gore). He also just retired this year after a 51 year teaching carer. He told me to tell you that compared to all the other answers here (presidents) he feels old (grin!)
