I would wait a couple days. I saw my first payment on-line but didn't get the card in the mail for a couple days. The second time I saw it was paid but then I got a check in the mail within a couple days.

I believe it took awhile to get my card, also, even though it said I had been paid. It might have been a week, or even two.

When you check online, it will say that you were paid on the day you file a claim, even though you do not have the funds yet. It took me four days to get my check ( Thursday), after filing on a Sunday.
Debit cards might get you the funds quicker.

Unemployment question

I have not called unemployment as it is hard to get in. I was turned down on line, as I did not have enough hours however, I thought if you are laid off due to covid that the "Cares Act" covers us.

In comments it said to re apply, but I have not gotten a letter yet saying I am denied. I am filing weekly, hoping that this is a mistake.

Do you think I should re apply?

All I know is I didn't think I would get anything because I hardly worked until this school year. I did work a lot this school year, probably twice a week, which is a lot for me. I ended up getting far more than I ever thought I would.

They have a formula, based on quarters, but I don't know exactly how they figure it.
