New Yearís Day Sewing Project

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I read a blog once that suggested starting your New Year off on the right foot with a sewing project. So yesterday I made this rectangular basket. I had the outer fabric (freebie once from JoAnnís) that actually goes well in my sewing studio. It is the perfect size for fat quarters.

It looks like something you would pay a great deal of money to buy.

What a great project!
Did you use the boning called for in the tutorial?
I have never bought boning.
Can you show me a picture of what you used?
Thanks so much.

I got the boning from JoAnnís(curbside pick up ). Basically it is a strip of plastic in a cloth casing. I think it was about $7 for 2 yards. I just clicked on her links for the boning (JoAnns) and the wire (Amazon). Here is a photo.
