Check out Plank Road Publishing. They have great books with accompaniment CDs or downloads. Great for concerts!

Try Pinterest! Also, depending on the age of the kids, remember to keep it simple and repetitive.

Boomwhackers on YouTube

Hi Hapteacher!
I teach Elementary Music & get tons of great ideas from YouTube videos. I just searched "Boomwhackers," and there are lots videos there, including easy songs. You may not be trained in music, but you are definitely musical! Maybe some music students can work with you, too (kids who take private lessons). You're going to have a great time learning and performing whatever you choose -- and the kids will enjoy and appreciate seeing you learn with them!

By the way, September 2014 was the 200th anniversary of Francis Scott Key's poem, "The Star-Spangled Banner." Believe it or not, depending on the boomwhackers you have, you could do that song pretty easily! (You might not have the correct boomwhacker for the "-ly" note in "ear-ly" (dawn's early light), but if you have at least an octave and a half, you could do the whole song.

When is your spring concert?
