I need some help getting ideas for my elves for the Christmas program.

anyone know anything about a way to make a cutesy elf costume...the little hat, ears, or shoes?

How many do you need?
If you just want the Mr. Spock look, I would attach felt-shaped ears to a headband or let them hang from a hat.
Cones of felt could be stuffed and "velcroed" around sneakers for cute pointy toes! (Don't use felt on the bottom of the shoe, it's too slippery)
If only a few are needed, get a parent to sew some jingle bells to the toes for a cute effect, if your program can handle the sound of the jingle!

Just wanted to let you know that I got 12 elf hats (pointy ears, red or green paper hat) for $2.50 through Oriental. I'm planning to order some more for the inevitable tears that occur during performance. They are VERY cute!
