I have been hunkered down since mid March. The only people Iíve seen are immediate family And one cousin....who is pretty much immediate family. Even on vacation....same people.

I couldnít take it any more. I contacted a very old friend and on a whim, decided to go to an outdoor restaurant. It was glorious. Well spaced out, completely outdoors, wait staff all but frisbeed our food and drinks to us.

And conversation with friend was exactly what I needed.

Not saying Iím ready to become party central, but I was okay with it and could consider doing it again next month.

Glad you enjoyed your time of freedom!!

It really helps you feel good for a few days.

We had friends over on Saturday. One couple, on the porch the whole time. It was such a lovely day!!!

We've done a few things, but not nearly what we'd do if there was no Covid. I think if we can get out at least one day a week it will really helps us get through each week. Living in NC we should have at least one day a week to get out and walk throughput the winter. I worry about those in colder climates.

2Teach2-
Is your profile pic a Chrissy doll? Loved her! I had her when I was about 8 or so in the 60's! I also wanted a Violet doll.

I agree it's a challenge to figure out what you can do safely. I'm glad you found something that was safe. The better we all get at thinking outside of the box and alternative ways to safely do things the quicker we will slow this mess down.
