Clip to ScrapBook #1

I need a lesson plan to start introducing and teaching my 4th graders Power Writing. I have looked this writing strategy up and found how great it is for teaching kids how to write. Anyone using this and can help me in steps?
Thanks.

I am a big fan of Power Writing. I find that 4th graders can really put it to work and enjoy the writing process. If you could lay your hands on a copy of Sparks book it would provide tremendous help. Until then, here is a lesson plan that might help you get started:

Flappy thank you so very much for this information! Where do I find a copy of Sparks book? Also do you know of a power point on the writing formula?
You are a life-saver!

I took two classes and had two books but gave one to a friend. Sorry.
I see that they do have used ones on amazon dot com. Brace yourself, they are a bit costly. Perhaps you could find one through a library loan system to see if you want to purchase it or not. The name of the book is: Write for Power: With Enchiridion by J.E.Sparks.
I am not aware of a good power point on the subject. Perhaps someone else has seen one.
