Mythology and Measurement

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I teach in an American school in Guadalajara, MX. The kids are fourth grade age, but considered third graders because there is a grade called "pre-first". All of mine are second language learners...Sooooo...with that said...

We are beginning a Mythology unit and in years past the final product has always been a report and a drawing of the chosen god or goddess. I am on-board with this, but am looking for something to add to this....and I have teacher's block!!

Also, my students are learning the customary units of measurement currently and today we started converting between units of length. They are having trouble and I am looking for a great hands-on activity perhaps that would help?

thanks!
