I am curious as to what people post here, because I am looking for the same thing. Just out of curiosity, what books have you heard of?

Thanks!

The most popular center books I've heard of are the Take It to Your Seat Centers by EvanMoor... they have books for all sorts of centers....

a couple of web-sites

When I don't want to buy books I hunt the internet, there's a web-site that has tons of printable math games (you can click on the grade level). Some might need some prep, but I always like to have at least one or two games in my centers.

This web-site is full of printables, some might just be if you finish early type stuff, but it's free:

Good luck with your centers, I haven't taught math in a while but my I helped my co-teacher set up her centers and I use some of these when I tutor in the summer.

This comes up from time to time. Here are some discussions:

Also, check out the groups Guided Math and Daily 5 Math. Even if you aren't using those methods, there are games and activities posted that will work in your classrooms.

BTW- I never buy the center books anymore. What you need are cards & dice.

Someone posted these a while back and they look great. I'm using them this year in a computer math center along with district-provided stuff.
