Stormy last night and blustery today. Iím loving watching the whitecaps from inside. A dear friend just brought me beautiful lemons from her neighborís tree and she texted that, as I ran back inside, there was hail. I missed itóyou have to be fast to see weather in Southern California.

Love the photo! I love to see stormy skies. Yes, itís a good day to be inside today in SoCal, even here in the usually warmer desert where I live. I actually had to use my LLBean raincoat during my morning walk. The rain was a special treat, but Iím very happy to be settled inside now.

My most memorable times near the ocean were when there were storms. There's such power displayed! Love your images, Amiga.

Are you set to make lemon drop martinis now? They're my favorite.

I am LOVING it!! Massive winds sweeping the atmosphere clean. I walked in it this morning without listening to music or Audible, just paying attention to the feel of the wind.

Your picture makes me want to head to the coast and watch for a bit.

The best part for us, of course, is that rain is on its way.

Keep posting those glorious photos.

I've been watching the approaching storm on the news. It looks like a powerful system that I don't want coming anywhere near where I live. But I do love storms. I just don't love cold, windy weather. Beautiful picture of it!

Beautiful! We are expecting rain in central CA. I would prefer to have the rainy weather on the weekend when I can sit in my comfy chair and read while the rain falls. Oh well, we will take the rain whenever we can get it in CA!

That is a beautiful picture. I caught the tail end of the news and thought a saw a twin funnel over San Diego, is that true? I thought you would have a great view of that.

We had hail on the playground today, and yesterday there was snow up in our hills. Snow! By the beach! I've been here almost 20 years and never has that happened.

It was... interesting teaching with all of the windows and doors open and a cold wind coming in all day. And my room is so small that I'm basically standing in the doorway to teach. I was freezing today! I'm such a CA wimp!

The blustery storm was a big change. The wind was freezing, and we got hail. Some of my students had never seen hail before.

San Diego did have a rare funnel cloud, but I don't know about twin funnel clouds. It was very windy, and many trees fell, especially the eucalyptus, which have shallow roots.
