I have used Zearn for the past 2 years as a supplement to our math curriculum (Eureka Math). It aligns very well with the Eureka Math lessons (at least for 2nd grade). It's been a wonderful resource! I've used it both in whole group on some of the lessons where I didn't have the necessary materials the lesson called for and I've also used in with individual students who need a little extra re-teaching of some of the lessons. It's very easy to follow.

The only con I can really think of is that students are not actually physically holding the manipulatives. Instead they are using virtual ones on the computer screen. I know some students benefit from holding manipulatives in front of them.

I used it as part of my Math block everyday with Eureka Math. I would do the warm ups, sprints and application problems whole group. Then half the class would work on Zearn and half the class would work with me on the concept development. I liked how Zearn had them repeat and review lessons if they were making too many mistakes. It is easy to monitor their progress and you can assign a lesson to different students.

Speaking as a retired teacher and grandma / glad to hear you were using this as a good supplement and resource . The teachers of our districts were forced to use Zearn as the only Math curriculum. Parents, teachers and kids were totally frustrated. I can see it being used as you subscribed. Thank you for responding . Now I have a leg to stand on !! .
