I just took a enneagram test and the description was so perfect it was scary. My Myers-Briggs tends to vary because 3 of my traits are pretty close to the middle point.

Have you taken either of these tests and are the results accurate in your opinion?

My results are 5w6 and IN_P.

I have consistently gotten INFJ on the Meyers Briggs. It matches me very closely.

Myers Briggs matches me closely. As a child I was an INFP, but as an adult I have merged into an INFJ. Some tests are more accurate than others.

With enneagram I really can't decide what I am! Someone told me to read the descriptions and find the one that matches you, rather than taking the quizzes. I've taken tests as well. I could be a 6, or a 1, or a 4, maybe a 2. I can't figure where I place in that one. What does that say about me?

I love personality stuff! Makes me feel like someone gets me!

This is completely me. It never changes no matter how often I take the test.

Of course these tests seem very accurate. They ask a sufficient number of questions for you to tell the how you think and feel. The assessments are designed such that the responses are categorized so your type matches your answers.

Take the test and lie, lie, lie. See if you come up with the same type.

With the Myers-Briggs tests, I'm E/I NF P/J. The NF personality description is fairly accurate to me.

I'd never seen the enneagram tests before so I took one last night. It was inconclusive. All the descriptions sort of fit and none of them really fit.

Did you have to pay to take the Myers-Briggs test?

The 16 personalities test is free. https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

I'm going to look into the enneagram test. I hadn't ever heard of it.

ETA: I'm 50% type 2, and 50% type 5...spot on descriptions. To be honest, I can be type 4 as well.
