Toilet training IEP goal?

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Has anyone got experience writing IEP goals for toilet training? It's been a long time since I taught life skills and most of my students back then were already toilet trained.

I'm trying to write an IEP for a student who is going to life skills and I'm having difficulty trying to create it especially the criteria for success. Anybody have some examples to help me out? I've tried internet searches but I'm not having much luck.

TIA,
Tammy

I have middle school students, so usually the goals that I write are about moving toward independence with self-care. I.e. completing each step (clothing, sitting, washing hands, etc) with decreasing prompts.

Student will pull up clothing with one full-physical prompt(hand over hand assistance)/partial prompt (tap to the hand), and verbal cue.
