Any ideas of a craft and game I could do with my 4th graders during our Valentine's Day Party? Looking for something somewhat easy, fun, but relatively inexpensive.

We are decorating store bought heart shaped cookies with canned frosting and sprinkles. We are also making cards for family members. There are some good ideas on krokotak.com.

I saw some free Valentine bingo cards on Crayola.com yesterday when I was looking for color sheets. I didn't pay a lot of attention, because I have a Bingo game I use every year, but there were several different ones.

It doesn't matter if the bingo cards have words or pictures.

You describe the word/picture. Tell its meaning, but do not use the word for the word or the word for the picture. Students have to cover the correct word/picture from the description you give.

Blow up a blank bingo board that can fit inside a heart. Make blank copies for the class. Prepare a set of 24 multiplication facts, with no duplicate products. List the products on the board and instruct the children to randomly write each product in a box, of course the middle box is a free space. You can use conversation hearts to cover a product when the fact is called.

This may be too late for tomorrow but as you know, kids love bingo any time of year and it's a great way to practice their facts yet easy prep for you.

Wish I had thought of this pattern as a way to win!

Thanks! I asked my kids what they wanted to do and they said to skip the craft and spend longer on the game. They picked the game. We are all set!
