I am 36, a size 10 and 5'3. I don't want a dress that is too short nor am I tall enough to wear long dresses. I went to NINE!!!!! different stores over the weekend (TJ MAXX, Gap, Banana Republic, Loft, Kohl's, Macy's, Dress Barn, Old Navy, and Black & White to try and find a dress - NOTHING!!! The wedding is the first weekend in July so I'm running out of time. I said to a friend of mine today - "I don't want to look like a "hoochie-mama" and I don't want to look like a grandmother". Where do you buy classy and a step up from casual dresses?? HELP!!!!

Not sure if you have an outlet mall or shopping center, near you, and I think you can also find these dresses online. I am 5'7 and a size 10/12. I found two cute choices to wear to my retirement dinners at this store. I don't usually go in there, but it was my lucky day. Lord and Taylor is also my go-to for dresses.

I found a really cute dress on Amazon of all places. I only picked ones that were free returns. I ordered a couple in multiple sizes. I didn't have any issues with returning the ones I didn't like.

Loft and White House/Black market are my go to stores for dresses. Since that did t work out for you, maybe try Stitch fix? You might have time to get the box. How about Rent the Runway?
