Dress for brother's wedding - HELP!

I am 36, a size 10 and 5'3. I don't want a dress that is too short nor am I tall enough to wear long dresses. I went to NINE!!!!! different stores over the weekend (TJ MAXX, Gap, Banana Republic, Loft, Kohl's, Macy's, Dress Barn, Old Navy, and Black & White to try and find a dress - NOTHING!!! The wedding is the first weekend in July so I'm running out of time. I said to a friend of mine today - "I don't want to look like a "hoochie-mama" and I don't want to look like a grandmother". Where do you buy classy and a step up from casual dresses?? HELP!!!!

I’m 41 and 4’11”. I do really well at Macy’s or Dress Barn (I love Dress Barn).

How about Venus ? They have great dresses for good prices.

Here is a coupon code too.. XWEB18WSU23

I just bought this dress..

I think you'd be a M.. for a size 10.

This dress would be beautiful in July:

Nordstrom...you'll find something

Or Macy's

I really like Ralph Lauren's dresses and Tommy Hilfiger.

Both those dresses are so cute! How have I never heard of this site/store?

I also would suggest trying Lord & Taylor, Nordstom & Bloomingdale's

I've bought nice dresses at Burlington Coat Factory and their prices are very good too.

Dress Barn, JC Penney, or Dillard’s. I have had success with all three for dresses.

Not sure if you have an outlet mall or shopping center, near you, and I think you can also find these dresses online. I am 5'7 and a size 10/12. I found two cute choices to wear to my retirement dinners at this store. I don't usually go in there, but it was my lucky day. Lord and Taylor is also my go-to for dresses.

Three nieces got engaged last years so I stocked up on dresses from Talbots. Their sales are great!

I found a really cute dress on Amazon of all places. I only picked ones that were free returns. I ordered a couple in multiple sizes. I didn't have any issues with returning the ones I didn't like.

Loft and White House/Black market are my go to stores for dresses. Since that did t work out for you, maybe try Stitch fix? You might have time to get the box. How about Rent the Runway?

My other go to stores would be Nordstrom and Lord and Taylor. Good Luck!

I'm almost your exact size, and my style preferences are the same as yours.

I used Zappos. Fast shipping, easy to return/exchange.

For my son's wedding I got mine at Dillards. It wasn't that expensive I didn't think.
