We still have 10 days left with students so I am totally on a different page. Are you done your school year already?
One thing I do like to do the last week of school is have my current students write a letter to next year's class giving advice on how to have a successful year in Mrs. ________ class. I leave the letter on the new students' desks on the first day of school. It's a fun activity at both ends of the school year.

"Me in a Bag" (see attachment)

I usually send the bag home at Open House, which in my school is held two nights before school begins.

"Numbers in Our Lives" (see attachment for an example)

Once students finish their rough draft, I type them and run back-to-back. Everyone completes one student's sheet each day. Then the student to whom the sheet belongs stands in front of the class and gives the correct answers.

This is a great math activity...and also helps me realize who may have number sense challenges!!

This list has some great ideas you might not have tried. I love to do the Me/We activity (last one on the list).

You have to think about the Me/We activity a little. If you make the pattern correctly, the word "Me" can be flipped so it says "We."
