Clip to ScrapBook #1

Hi everyone
I am very happy that I get more information from this forum than emailing supervisor or HR .

Once the shut down started ,they either are busy .
Or pretend busy as substitutes are practically not needed in online .
Avoiding or trying to keep only few not sure .

Please keep me /us informed in this forum what going on in schools and unemployment filing also .

It is the biggest support .

My one school reopen physically .
Jobs there but not much like last year .It seems teachers are not permitted to assign subs much .

Soo many issues with reopening so waiting to see they close all over .

I can see that many of us has more experience than me .
Thank you for you all in writing in this forum .

It is a very big support in this hard times .

My school did postpone opening for two weeks.

They haven't contacted me, nor have I contacted them. I do look on the website every week or so to see if there is anything new.

I will not do online.

I figure the less contact I have with them, the better. My school is in a county that can't open in-person.

I figure they will contact me when they need me. Luckily, I don't depend on this job, though I would rather be working than sitting on the couch watching shark tank reruns, every day.

our schools are online until after Labor Day, then hybrid. we got an email yesterday about doing three hours of training and to specify if we are open to long term jobs.

i really really do not want to go in. i got an interview for a position related to my education/career, if i get it i won't go back. i will probably do the training. if i can get six weeks working at home or something, i'm okay with that. even that's not ideal, however, as my graduate classes require many hours in front of the computer and i get migraines. but we'll see.

i tried logging on to look at available jobs a week or two ago, but we were in that weird time every august where we can't access stuff as they roll everything over to the new year.

good luck!
