Should I stay or should I go?

This is not a major issue, but I am still curious how others would handle it.

On Wednesdays, subs only work from 7:55 to 11:30 and get paid a half day.

I learned today that I am in this class all week.

The teacher is unaware of our Wednesday hours and has me staying in her room from 11:00 to 12:00 to see if any students enter the room online for homework support.

I am to open a Webnex link and record the names of students who enter.

Should I

A. Leave at 11:30 and kick students out at this time.
B Suck it up and stay until noon
C Compromise and stay until 11:45
D. Not bother opening up the class at all.

Class begins in about 12 hours, and I am leaning towards C.

I am just curious to know what others would do, keeping in mind I am in this class all week.

I would then talk to who ever schedules the subs to have them let the teachers know that your days end at 11:30 on Wednesdays. If you are already staying past 11:30 I would finish the class.

I agree with the above poster- then log in, take names until your quitting time. Log out and leave teacher names of students who came in before 11:30.

If it was a teacher that I like, work for regularly, and they possibly request me then I would probably stay the half hour but leave them a note letting them know I went ahead and covered the shift even though our scheduled end time on Wednesdays is 11:30. If it was a teacher I donít like working for or I donít know I would probably just leave them a note letting them know what time weíre supposed to be off and that I was not able to stay due to an appointment. I actually did that once.

I stayed until 11.23 and signed out.

No one showed up as of this time and I was 99% sure no one would.

I am not even sure I was actually in the meeting room since it asks you if you want to notify the host that you are here. It was the teachers meeting room, and she is the absent host.

I wrote in the sub report that we are only supposed to work until 11:30 on Wednesdays.
