Feeling fancy

I'm feeling kinda fancy because I ordered a delivery from a local dairy. I say dairy but they offer a lot more than just dairy products. You get a delivery day of the week, order by Sunday evening, and leave a cooler outside with ice in it. I'm curious to know if I can taste a difference and which products are the best. And I feel good supporting a local farmer.

I'm anxious to hear how everything tastes! That sounds like a wonderful thing to do.

That's how my mom got her dairy products in the 1950s.

Well, I have to come back and report. I'm hooked and I may have a problem with this. It's a touch pricey. Here's what I ordered for the first order: skim milk; butter; chocolate cookies and bacon. I haven't sampled the bacon yet. The butter was fine but I don't know that I'd order it again----I couldn't taste the difference. The cookies were delicious; just have to not eat all of them. of them at once. The milk? It was DELICIOUS and IMO worth the order. I don't drink a huge amount of milk but you could really taste the difference, it seemed fresher.
My big problem is that they have a huge amount of things that they'll deliver. I may have to sample more.

I'm glad things were good, especially the milk. I loved the butter my grandmom use to buy from the farmers at the market, there was a taste difference. I think I would need to taste test more items.
