I hope you don't mind my stepping it. It's highly possible that watching the aquarium is much healthier and better for your blood pressure than the t.v.!

That picture made me think back to medical waiting rooms in the 50's 60's. Some of the suburban offices had fish tanks built into the wall. Stress relieving or a fad?

My dentist had a lovely, built in tropical tank in his waiting room for years. (Modern office with an open plan. Great treatment rooms with huge windows that face a garden filled with bird feeders. I love just looking out that window-I've seen pheasants, hummingbirds, tons a song birds and they have been visited by a majestic bald eagle.) I just went in last month-the tank was replaced with a digital screen with a fish tank scene on it.

Both my family doctor and dentist have fish tanks in their offices. They're fun to watch.
