Handwriting Without Tears

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I loaned out my Handwriting Without Tears cursive writing books and now I can't find them. However, it appears they are out of print.

I owned a blue cover one and an orange cover one-- can anyone tell me the difference between those two books? I figure if I have to buy another copy, I might as well just buy one. But I can't recall the difference between the two.

Thank you,
Sarah

I'm not that familiar with them, but the website has pictures and descriptions, so this might help.

What you are doing is very illegal--I am not sure if you know it but if I were you, I would be very careful. Copying these books is not covered under "fair use" provisions of copyright use. If you do continue this practice, do not mention to anyone else that you just buy one copy and use the copier/printer for the rest of what you need.

The program considers those books "consumable" with the expectation that each one will be assigned to an individual student. There is a provision that allows a teacher to make unlimited copies of pages for THAT SAME STUDENT but not others.

Some companies are stricter than others about copyright infringement and they are one of those strict ones.

I did not realize this was illegal! They were second-hand from another teacher. Thankfully, I didn't ever photocopy from them. I just used the order that they introduced the letters in to model for the class, plus practice words.

This year I was using the book with one student.

I know we have to be so careful. Thank you for taking the time to let me know.
