Searching for Supplies

Clip to ScrapBook #1

Has anyone found "deals" on single subject notebooks, folders, binders, etc. Our classroom budget is -0-

I was hoping to find the 10 for a dollar deals but $1.39 each at Kmart! I have a class of 34.

None of the fliers from Sunday's paper mentioned any specials.

You might start watching Staple's ad. I know I found them really cheap there last year. If you have a United Supermarket Store, they had them on sale 8 for a $1.00 this week. You might even check Walgreen's too. Hope you find them!

I was just at Shop-Rite today and saw single subject notebooks for 10 cents. I thought that was a good deal. Staples usually has a penny sale each year, but I'm not sure if they're having it this year or not.

Wal-Mart

I was just at Wal-Mart and did not witness these great deals. Ugh. That's something that you think would be across the board. I did see Crayola Crayons for .35 though. I think that's a pretty good deal. I'm at a Title 1 school, where unfortunately half the students bring supplies, and the rest are supposed to magically appear out of thin air. Guess I better start combing the ads. Has anyone seen any school supplies deals at Costco?

What state do you live in? I was at walmart and they had spirals for $15. Which is still amazing.

Staples!

I would definitely suggest checking out Staples. They just had reams of notebook paper on sale for a CENT! And they have a teachers rewards program (which is free). When you sign up, you are able to get 25 of any item even if the published limit is 2 or 5. I was able to get 3,000 sheets of notebook paper for 25 cents! Can't beat that
