After the big test....

I teach 1 5th grade gifted reading class, 2 5th grade gifted English classes, and 2 6th grade English gifted classes. We will be taking the CRCT a month from now. When testing is complete, I would love to do something fun and challenging with each of my classes for the remainder of the year. We will only have about 4 weeks of school left when we finish testing, and I want to make it fun for them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I always do a renaissance festival after testing is over...we have only two weeks remaining but in that time we research middle ages, dark ages and the renaissance and usually do a reading of some shakespeare work (since there isnt enough time to memorize lines) we play a lot of chess during this time too and its totally okay cause thats part of it! each year i add a little more to it
